Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on 5 February, 1964. Linney is an American actor who is well-known for her ability to portray tough characters, but also vulnerable. Linney was born into a theatre family, her father Romulus Linney being a playwright. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City 1990. In 1990, she appeared on Broadway at first in 1990.
